What To Bring

Fishing licenses – For fishing trips it is required that all participating guests obtain a tidal sport fishing license. These can be acquired online, at the Tofino Resort and Marina Adventure Centre and at Method Marine.

Motion sickness medication – Scopolamine patches are the best option and available locally at Tofino Pharmacy.

Warm clothing and waterproof footwear – While we offer a heated and enclosed cabin, we still recommend dressing for the often unpredictable west coast weather you might experience on the deck.

Snacks and alcoholic beverages – Coffee, water and access to a marine BBQ are available onboard.

Coolers – Free ice and onboard coolers will be provided but it is recommended that you bring coolers for transporting your catch home. You can discuss fish cleaning options with your guide.

Contact Us

Tidal licenses are required for anyone that is fishing. Please reference our what to bring page for more information on where to obtain your licenses.

Full refunds (minus a 5% visa fee) will be given for any cancellations outside of 30 days or if restrictions prevent travel.

Your safety and ours is the number one priority. Provincial health guidelines will be followed to ensure this. Face masks and hand sanitizer will be provided free of charge. In addition, surfaces will be cleaned throughout the day and between groups.

Cleaning and bagging of your catch is including in all charters. Commercial fish processing and vacuum packing is also available locally. Options can be discussed with your guide.

Our guides aim to provide you with a trip of a lifetime. While tipping is not required, if you feel the service was above par it is very much appreciated and relied on. Similar to other service industries, the general rate is 15-20%.
