Suddenly spring is in the air! We’ve enjoyed a mil Suddenly spring is in the air! We’ve enjoyed a mild winter in Tofino with plenty of sunshine and memorable days on the water. As we speak, Clayoquot sound is full of spawning herring that have been staging for the last few months, bringing with them a body of feeding Chinook Salmon. Fishing has been fantastic for salmon along with an unusual amount of inshore Halibut bycatch.
